2026 Field Service Engineer - New College Graduate Rotational Program

You might hear about APM programs, Finance Rotational programs, or APMM programs but there are also rotational programs for engineers and here is just one example of that from Applied Materials!

As a 2026 Field Service Engineer in the new College Graduate Rotational Program you'll serve as Applied Materials Direct Liaison with their customers quickly solve high-value problems on their behalf. By collaborating closely with their customers on site to install, maintain, and upgrade apply materials and equipment, and with their internal teams to improve business processes, you'll make a significant impact on ensuring peak performance and delivering exceptional service.

There will be comprehensive on-the-job training and the use of advanced digital tools and immersive technology such as augmented reality to support the systems and processes that underpin everyday semiconductor chip production in this rotational program.

Siemens energy commits $1B to U.S. manufacturing on long-term AI-powered boom

Siemens Energy announced a $1B investment to expand U.S. manufacturing betting that surging electricity demand from artificial intelligence will persist for years. The plan includes expanding factories in states like Florida and North Carolina and building a new Mississippi plant for electrical switchgear creating about 1,500 jobs.

Demand for turbines, transformers, and grid equipment has driven prices up and delivery times out, benefiting manufacturers but straining utilities. Despite past overcapacity fears, Siemens Energy sees sustained demand, especially through the decade, as data centers proliferate and natural gas power gains traction amid renewable permitting slowdown. Moltbook lets AI bots socialize - is this is an innovation experiment or security nightmare?

Moltbook it is a new social network where autonomous AI agents, non-humans, post, comment, and interact like people. Built by AI agents themselves, it has quickly drawn attention for showcasing large-scale machine-to-machine communication.

Experts find the experiment fascinating but risky citing low-quality content, manipulation, and serious cybersecurity flaws that could expose users' data. While some see Moltbook as a glimpse of AI's future, others warn it is an insecure “wild west” that should be approached with caution, despite praise from figures like Andrej Karpathy, OpenAI Cofounder and former head of AI at Tesla. Asking the right questions in a coffee chat determines how much you really get out of doing this coffee chat. The goal from doing a copy chat is not just to get a referral, you could get years' worth of advice, mistakes to avoid in your career, and even a mentor who’s willing to mentor you for long-term.

  2. What do you enjoy most about your role and what are some challenges you face?

  3. How do you see the industry evolving over the next few years?

  4. What skills do you think are essential for success in this field?

  5. Can you describe the culture of your organization?
