SWE internship roles with F500, Mid Sized Companies, etc
⭐ Bonus tip when applying to these roles:
𝗪𝗵𝘆 should you ask questions after your interviews?
1️⃣ 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁
By asking thoughtful questions, it’s a way to 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 the interviewer that you are genuinely interested in the role and the company.
Even if you already showed your interest through your interview responses, this is 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 for you to demonstrate your research of the company and add even more to your case.
It’s the same way how you would go to 𝘤𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 and potentially ask for a referral, go to your interviews with questions to seal the deal for that offer.
2️⃣ 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
Interviews are not 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 for employers to learn about you; they're also 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 to understand the company and the position better.
What are the professional development opportunities they’re going to have for the interns? What does intern orientation look like? Are there intern social events during the program?

Intern Spotlight: Nathan Lee

Can you give us an introduction of yourself and a look into your role at Citi as a Product Management intern?
Hello my name is Nathan and I’m a business administration major at UC Irvine. As a product management intern at Citi, I was responsible for the product roadmap and improvement for Citi fintech products such as Citi Worldlink, Citi Direct, and much more. These products help facilitate billions of dollars for big tech clients such as Uber, Google and etc.

Can you describe a time when you faced a challenge or obstacle while working on a project? How did you overcome it?
One obstacle and challenge was gathering feedback from clients, as a product manager, I didn't realize how client facing the work was going to be and how essential their feedback is for improving on the product. To make this process easier, we work cross functionally with teams such as sales who have more direct contact with these clients who are using these products.
What is one advice you’d give to students who want to pursue product management and/or marketing as you’ve also pursued a product marketing internship with Amazon?
Take on as many diverse experiences as possible. With the job market getting more and more competitive, I think its easy for students to feel like they have to bottleneck themselves into a career right away, and work towards only one career even as early as freshman year. But I think what afforded me to succeed in my internships so far is to not be afraid to stray away from what seems like the most linear traditional and straight-line path. For example, even though I was interested in product marketing, I wasn't afraid to jump into tech or finance or banking or even startups. I believe that college is really the only time you have to try all these diverse experiences and be able to jump around with this type of flexibility.

The filing emphasizes Musk's ongoing efforts to undermine OpenAI, which he co-founded, as detrimental to the company's mission. OpenAI's move to restructure as a public benefit corporation adds another layer to the dispute, illustrating the deepening rift between Musk and the AI organization. How Trump’s tariffs impact even non-hardware tech giants like Meta
Despite not being a direct target, Meta's stock tumbled 9% due to Trump's new tariffs. The tech giant, which thrives on digital advertising revenue from global brands and numerous small to medium businesses, faces challenges as these tariffs increase costs for international advertisers. This especially affects Chinese companies, significant spenders on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, potentially reducing their ad expenditures due to higher operational costs, thus impacting Meta's revenue.
